His style was peculiarly adapted to the branch of art he made choice of; his colouring was... pure and brilhant, his touch free and decided, and he drew very correctly. This artist was killed at the siege of Haeiiem in 1572. [The branch of art he made choice of was portraiture ; for there is no- thing else mentioned as by him.] JACOBSZ, C. Philip, a Dutch engraver, who flourished about the year 1767.
