The avenue of pitch-pines, through which it is approached, is very beautiful ; and the temple itself is in excellent repair. I keep it so. " " Amida/" said Saikei in an absent manner.
The elder and his wife repeated the invocation in a lower tone, and bowed ; then Saikei said, " I must resume my journey.
