And yet this Event was connedled with, and dependent on tu'o Things in Men's moral Condud : firft, the injurious Rapine and Violence of the King of Babylon and his People, as the efficient Caufe ; which God often fpeaks of as what he highly refented, and would feverely-punifh ; and 2dly, The final Obftinacy of the Jenjus.
