...o right attacking a kneeling giant, twice repeated with slight variation. She advances with raised spear, and is clad in chiton and short mantle hanging down over each arm. In the first group the giant faces her, and is falling back- wards ; in the second his body is turned away, but he turns back his head and holds up shield against her. At extreme left, behind Athena, a spectator, draped in a himation, and seated on a basket- shaped stool.
On body. Departure of warriors in a four-horse chariot.
