bears the name of the-" coh. ii. astvrvm," whereas the NotUia places at this station " Tribunus cohortis primae Asturum." A fragment of a tile recently found at -SlsiCA, having stamped upon it the legend II ASTVR., confinns the testimony of the slab : that at one period, at least, the Second Cohort of the Astures was settled here.
