In the former case, τοΰ ιτληρ. τ. Xp. will be the qualifying, or rather char- acterizing gen. (Schcuerl. Synt. § 16, 3, Chap. IV. 14. EPHESIANS. 97 τον, ^* ίνα μηκβτί ωμβν νήττωι, κλυΒωνίζόμβνοι καΐ ττεριφερόμβνοι ρ. 115, and notes on ch. i. 10), and will more nearly define ttjs tjXik., — ' the age when the fulness of Chi-ist is received ; ' in the latter the gen.
