Jedediah Mills, Benjamin Pomeroy, Eleazar Whee- lock, and Joseph Bellamy. They were not only abundant in labours among their own people, and in neighbouring towns and societies ; but they preached in all parts of the colony, where their brethren would admit them, and in many places in Massachusetts, and the other colonies. He appeared to ve a deep concern for the salvation of his hearers ; and often, in bis addresses to them, and in his expostulations and pleadm^s with them to be reconciled to God, to for- sake the foolish and live, would melt into tears and weep over them.
