He was an honest man, and a good citizen ; he married Hannah, daughter of Caleb and Mary (Thomas) Hunt, of Weymouth, Jan. 8, 1800 ; she born 1776 ; died Jan. 28, 1834, aged 57 ; he died May 8, 1859, aged 82.
