" In August, 1828, " Zion's Herald" was consolidated with it, and for some years it was known as " The Christian Advocate and Journal and Zion's Herald. " But in 1830, a new association having been formed, the publication of the present " Zion's Herald " was begun, and that part of the title was subsequen...tly dropped. The first editor of " The Christian Advocate and Journal " was a layman named Barber Badger.
