Dayton is only one of the many cities where the work has taken on larger pro- portions since the original planting of the seed in '98, In fact, I think it may truthfully be said that the present Young People's Missionary Movement is in no small measure the outgrowth of the work of the Yale Band in which Larry was unquestionably the leading spirit." A member of the Band writes of the year's work and of Lawrence's part in it as follows : " As I try to set down my impressions of the year now the things that stand out especially are these : " I.
