Then to the county voters he appealed, Their ballots seeking, a quaint candidate : Clad in " a mixed jeans coat, claw-hammer style, vShort in the vSleeves," above his sinewy wrists, Bob-tailed, ill-fitting, trousers skimped of cloth, Pot-metal boots, and coarse hat made of straw.
