“She claimed that it was a ‘debt repaid,’ “ Mr. Jett said.
“A debt?” I asked. “What sort of debt?”
“Yeah, what sort of debt?” Edwin asked.
I was very happy, by the way, that Preston Lewis was not in the room as we discussed this. Mr. Jett had made the spouses leave the room.
