As soon as we heard that Dr. Barnouw was going out to the United States, for a year, as a staff- writer of the well-known weekly, The Nation", we felt a desire to re- quest him to act as a Queen Wilhelmina Lecturer during that period as well. He proved quite willing to comply with this request.
