I AM one of the few men now living who can sa...y they have seen General Washington. I saw him at two different periods of my life once when he was in Boston, in the year 1776, and again, after his inauguration, in 1789; and though I am now far advanced in years, I distinctly remember his looks and appearance, on both occasions.
Mr. Charles Fox has submitted to my inspection a small Portrait of that distinguished man, drawn by Fullerton, which appears to me to bear a more exact resemblance to him than any I have ever seen. I do not hesitate to say that, in my opinion, it is a better likeness of General Washington than any one that I have met with before.
