'Is that so—' 'Stop arguing,' Faro interrupted. 'Look over there, a girl is climbing on to the bridge.' 'A girl? You must be mistaken. No one's come in here without me seeing them—' 'Use your eyes, man. Over there!' The watchman raised his lantern. 'She canna do that,' he cried indignantly.
