Gray Gyrfalcon (Falco rusticolus rusticolus). . An occasional win- ter visitant. One female specimen in Sur. Coll. Taken at Madison, Lac qui Parle Co. , Dec. 11, 1894, by Alber...t Lano (Auk 29:239). This specimen combines the heavily streaked head of Falco rusticolus rusticolus, the white and heavily marked underparts of F. R. Gyrfalco, and the plain dark back and imperfectly barred tail of F. R. Obsoletus. Other specimens have been taken in the state and reported under various sub- specific names.
