The famed screen at Burian, with its lich carving, once glorious in colour, the disused screen of Sancreed (now in the vestry) are fine examples of old Cornish screens, in olden times the most prominent points in our churches, and probably not destroyed till the ravages of Shrubsall and the Puritans.
