Crystals sometimes scopiform aggregated, sometimes intersect each other* They are longitudinally streaked. External lustre 3, bordering on 4 ; internal 2, vitreous. Principal fracture imperfect narrow straight radiated ; cross fracture uneven and glassy. Composed of very thin columnar distinct concretions, again aggregated into large angular concretions.
