What reading level is A Tale of Tresco the Tavistock Chimes And Other Poems Mostly of the West Coun book?
To quickly assess the difficulty of the text, read a short excerpt:

In Bickleigh Yale, beside the Plym, Fit garland for the flowery May, From wooded slope to water's rim, The blue-bells crowd in squadrons gay.
Some clinging to the valley's side, Amidst the copse their home have found ; Whilst others, scattered far and wide, Are waving on the open ground.
They vary as they meet our view, As if their place the difference made, Here in the light a sheeny blue, And there soft purple in the shade.
And some, in distance far away, With many a goodly stem between, Hang
... like a veil of twilight grey, Half hidden in their leafy screen.
A sight were this to cheer the heart Of one who sauntered here alone ; Gleaning, with grateful love, his part Of beauty, here so freely strewn.
But cheerier yet it is to know, That others have this pathway trod, Who felt, through all this goodly show, Quite clearly seen the love of God.
May 30th, 1888.
After a day in Bickleigh Vale with Sunday School Teachers May 29th, 1888, 49 AUTUMN.
The beauty of the grove is waning fast ; The elm has nearly lost its golden crown ; From gnarled oak, sere leaves, almost the last ; Sadly and silently are floating down.
