Experimental Work.
The casein was precipitated from skimmed milk by the use of the following precipitant b:- (1) Lactic acid - 4 % solution.
(2) Hydrochloric acid - 1 part con. HC1 to 10 parts H (3) Sulphuric acid - i 2 - parts by volume to 7 parts H ice tic acid - 29 $> solution.
(5) Ethyl sulphuric acid - 1 part con. H ?,0 to 1 part ale che 1 .
