Dosagre. — 5-60 grains. Physiologic Action. — (This answers for all iodids.) Gkusrtaic Irritant. — ^The iodids are very irritating to the stomach and may produce nausea, vomiting, and signs of indigestion. Absorbent. — The iodids have a peculiar action in causing the absorption of connective tissue, especially that which is newly formed.
