Lands Clauses Acts, and the owner may compel the settlement of the price either by justices, arbitration, or by jury (o).
The jurisdiction of the justices is limited to claims not exceeding ">0Z. (p). If the owner desires to have the price settled by arbitra- tion, he can initiate proceedings by giving notice to the promoters before they have issued their warrant to the sheriff to summon a jury (q).
