Its appearance and fre- quency will probably much depend upon the epidemic conftitution of the year, as long as its occafional caufes continue to fubfift ; but that proper care and regula- tions in prifons might almoft entirely ex- tirpate thefe caufes, there feems no reafon to doubt.
