It was really up to her mother to sort out her own problems, although the woman she’d met earlier didn’t appear to have any that Rachel could see. The whole situation was a nightmare. Watching holidaymakers splashing about in the pool, Rachel envied them their freedom. Her situation was so uncertain. And it was all Matt Brody’s fault. Despite her worries, the day passed remarkably quickly.
