He had a mobile, quick-answering face, with the most prominent features; and notwithstanding the loosely-held muscles and soft parts he had it under perfect control, so much so, that for the purposes of explaining his thoughts and illustrating his ideas his expressive eyes and easily-con- trolled face and countenance were trained and skilled to his use, just as his tongue and voice were.
