Even when, however, from a combination of causes, a monopoly is established, the necessity of advertising is by no means done away with. Every concern must keep in touch with its own customers. There is, however, another side to the Co- operative movement. The large wholesale societies have undertaken the manufacture of goods to supply to the retail societies.
