And my children ! How I love them ! They are she ; they are even more ; the guileless egotism of fatherhood invests their treas- ured vitality. I press my lips to my daugh- ter's lips, to the lips of my son, with a passion different from yet even more sacred than the ecstasy of manhood's early love.
