Inquiries made by myself elicited the fol- lowing replies: Professor Little, of Mos- cow, Idaho, states the Lewiston-Clarkston Company expects the high duty of 200 acres per cubic foot per second. Professor Kuapp, of Houston, Texas, replied that the duty had only been tabulated tor rice, which requires about 18in. Of water.
