All ...posts and studs are to be footed directly upon sill plates, and to run through to roof as far as practicable.
Floor beams are to be shouldered upon plates and interties, not more than 1" of depth. The cutting from the depth of any beam is to be avoided.
Set double studing 2"x4" at all window and door openings.
Wall plates, 4"x4", in single lengths when possible, halved and spiked at all angles and joints.
