In fome parts of New Jerfey, a diforder prevailed with great mortality among the horfes, and in Virginia among the cows, during the laft autumn. The urine in both was yellow. Large abfceffes appeared in different parts of the body in the latter animals, which when opened, difcharged a yellow ferous fluid. From the colour of thefe difcharges, and of the urine, the difeafc got the name of the yellow water.
