She pulled Tim’s laptop toward her and turned it on. The screen lit and the monitor wallpaper blinked on to reveal a photo of Uncle Mike with his arms resting on the shoulders of a teenaged Tim and Frankie. The photo should have brought a smile at memories of happier times. Instead, it seared her heart with grief.
