Worthy's Island was occupied for some time by Mr. Charles Gross who failed to pay for it to the owner, H. Rowell, Esq. , and in 1839 he removed from it, and it was purchased by Sullivan Green, Esq. Russ Island was the residence, for many years, of Mr. George Harvey, a soldier of the War of 181 2. He died there, and the island is now the property of Captain Stephen B.
