The saving in the costs of agricultural labour is no- wise different from economy in consumption. The expenc...es of agricultural labour, like those of all other labours, consist in consumption. Consequently, the saving of agricultural expences is an actual economy in consumption, an economy no-wise distinct from that of the expellees of the land-owners, which Dr. Quesnay considers as forming capitals, when they are, applied to improve the soil.* The increased price of agricultural produce through * The greatest part of the expences of land-owners are, at least, unproductive expences.
