Woodcroft Castle, Northamptonshire, is a very remarkable and foreign-looking building of this period. There are remains of houses of this style at Acton Burnell, Shropshire ; Godmersham, Kent ; Longthorp, Northampton- shire ; Charney, Berkshire ; West Dean, Sussex ; and Oakham, Rutland, called Flore's House.
