The department will work closely with property owners to assist them in bringing structures up to code and to help all citizens be prepared for emergencies. We have already initiated a program of fire prevention focused on Franconia' s places of assembly, such as hospitality establishments.
We also are participating in a program to assure that every citizen is protected by a smoke alarm - a simple device that is a proven lifesaver.
