There are also a number of other projects that are being considered for town that have not formally gone to the planning board. The building department expects to see no reduction in work but perhaps a shift from heavy residential to heavy commercial.
This past year saw the town's first positive bird for the West Nile Virus. The health department was notified of mosquito sampling done by the state at two locations in the general proximity of where the positive bird was found. The results showed no positive mosquito pools in the area.
