Y. From inter- ested friends we received 20 books, 9 were juvenile and 11 adult, both non-fiction and fiction. From the State Aid Fund for the 1943 quota we received 6 adult non- fiction, 2 adult fiction and 7 juvenile books, and a bonus of 5 juvenile books. Due to a delay in sending in the order, we have not yet received the 1944 quota of books from the State Aid Fund. Thus far only 4 adult fiction have been purchased with the town's allotment. However a total of 72 books have been added to th...e library this year. The Bookmobile is still making calls at the library, and since February first we have borrowed 286 books and loaned 793. Number of visitors 802 Adult fiction 757 Adult non-fiction 154 Juvenile fiction 846 Juvenile non-fiction 60 Total number of books loaned 1,785 Magazines loaned 487 19 The interest in our library seems to be as keen as in past years.
