The average attendance of our Sunday School the past year has been 140. More than this number attend the services of the Children's Church on Sun- day morning and evening. Heretofore we have encouraged our children to attend other Sunday Schools in this neighbor- hood held at hours that did not conflict with our own. We are convinced the practice has been pernicious to the child, i^pecially with those schools that offer certain awards and give lavishly at Easter, Christmas, etc.
