Miss Julia M. Melifant, of Concord, who was employed to teach the foil term, won the respect and esteem of her pupils, and the result was a pleasant and profitable school.

The spring term under the direction of Mr. Jolm C.
Hammond, appeared to be in a prosperous condition after a session of nearly six weeks.

John A. Heath, committee. Miss H. Ella Woodbury, of this town, was employed to teach the summer term, which was Miss Woodbury's first attempt at teaching, but being a good scholar and a natural disciplinarian the scholars received the benefit of an excellent school.
