For the remainder of the year the school was under the charge of Miss Emma A. Root of Goffstown. This was Miss Root's first experience in teaching, and her success was very commendable. The closing examination would have done credit to a much more experienced teacher.
River Road.
This school was taught for the entire year by Nellie J.
Bloomfield of this town, with her usual success.
