We are next going to work on some type of social studies adoption where there is more emphasis and materials for the elementary and intermediate grades. After this has been done and the area of grade school science has been improved upon, I feel that our curriculum will be in excellent condition.
I have enjoyed working with the people of Rum- ney and its teachers for the past year and wish to ex- tend my thanks for their cooperation and help. As your Superintendent of Schools I want you to know... I am willing at all times to give advice or counsel on educa- tional matters. As your new school is about to be con- structed I shall do everything possible to see that you obtain the best educational plant possible for the money you have to spend and that within the limits of the budget the equipment and supplies for it will be of the best.
