These component societies have increased from eight of last year to nine : the Chebra Kadisha Ubikkm* Cholim, numbering thirty-eight members, having joined us on the 13th of November last. The contributions have been regularly made, somewhat exceeding those of last yeai*. The Ladies' Sewing Society, whose laudable object was deservedly acknowledged in our third annual report, continued in their good a...nd noble work with constant, and, if possible, increased zeal. We are provided yet with an assortment of garments, furnished us by the Ladies' Sewing So- ciety, for distribution among the needy. Our most heartfelt thanks are due them for their assistance. Nor has the interest of our INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS in the Association decreased, if we are to judge from their highly liberal cotributions, amounting to nearly $1,600.00 this year, against about 1 800. 00 contributed the year previous.
The business of the Association has been transacted by the undersigned, TOUR EXECUTIVE BOARD, whose term expires to-day.
