Dog Officer CONSERVATION COMMISSION REPORT The Bethlehem Conservation Commission meets monthly, usually on the fourth Thursday of the month, at the Bretzfelder Park office. The Commission is asked to review Wetlands permits, state government environmental actions in the Town, and to discuss or take action on matters relating to Town resources. The Commission is a member of the NH Association of Conservation Commissions.
The Commission continues its Natural Resources Inventory mapping project. T...he maps identify wildlife habitat, scenic and historic features, wetlands, agricultural soils, and recreational features within the Town.
The Commission also serves as coordinator of the Bethlehem segment of the NH Heritage Trail. A Heritage Trail sign has been erected adjacent to the Town Directory on Main Street and a brochure for the established Bethlehem Trail segment is currently being printed.
Public involvement at Commission meetings and in conservation activities is encouraged.
