REPORT SUPERINTENDING SCHOOL COMMITTEE.
District No. 1. One term of eleven weeks, taught by Miss A. H. Sargent. Whole number of scholars, 23 ; aver- age a...ttendance, 17. The general appearance of the school was good, with a fair improvement. The duties of the teacher were performed in a prompt and energetic manner. Order very good.
District No. 2. First term, 10 weeks, taught by Miss L. E.
Hardy. Whole number of scholars, 48 ; average attendance, 35. Miss Hardy labored hard. Some scholars made good improvement. The 1142 cases of tardiness reflect not a little on the remissness of parents.
Second term, eight weeks, Miss A. C. Godwin, teacher. Miss G.
