If you need assistance or information dealing with ice damaged woodlands, please call 1-800-444-8978. The State of New Hampshire operates 15 fire towers, 2 mobile patrols and 3 contract aircraft patrols. This early detection and reports from citizens aid in the quick response from local fire departments. This is a critical factor in controlling the size of wild land fires and keeping the loss of property and suppression costs as low as possible.
