Being called over were all present as in the Morning.
It being moved by a Member that it's supposed through the Negligence of the Sheriff of Ann Arundel County that an Indian Heathen Enemy and another Criminal made their Escape out of the Prison of the said County and forasmuch as this House finds it to be of ill Consequence, therefore Resolved That the Sheriff of the said County be commanded to give his Attendance at the Bar of this House tomorrow morning by Eight O'clock to answer to what may be objected against him for such an Escape.
