The Humble Address of the Upper House of Assembly "^Sept. 26 May it please your Excellency — We his Majestys most dutiful and loyal Subjects the Upper House of Assembly return your Excellency Thanks, for your Speech at the Opening of this Session — It was very Obliging in your Excellency to be influenced by such Considerations to meet the General Assembly at this Season, when it is most convenient and agreeable to us to attend the Public Busi- ness ; and your Assurance that the Sanction of your Authority shall, with the utmost Alacrity and Satisfaction, be given to all such Regu- lations as may be thought most conducive to the Prosperity of this Province, demands our grateful Acknowledgments.
