In Mr. Rickards's scheme, the pictorial decorations will dominate ...a vast interior or series of halls which will be so arranged as to vistas and open communications that the story of them may be open and the magni- tude of the great event epitomised by the amplitude of its pages. Each illustration is worthy of a page to itself. The frontispiece so wonderfully conceived by Augustus John will close the vista obtained on entering this modern Pantheon, and the epic in its various chapters down to the apotheosis by Charles Sims will be declaimed from the halls around the Central Dome.
