Forced to continue the program without missing a beat, she watched in horror as the structure burned to the ground.
The air attacks on Berlin gained in intensity throughout the year. The raids began on January 30 when British Mosquitoes harassed the tenth anniversary celebration of Hitler’s rule in daylight raids.
