He’d done two back-to-back nine month tours in Afghanistan and then a three-month recon and capture mission in Somali. Now with all the leave time he had earned and not used, he had four weeks of rest and relaxation. He planned to ride his motorcycle, probably head to Myrtle Beach and sit in the sand and enjoy the cool breeze and waves lapping at his feet.
